Q: Can I run an unattended kiosk using an iPad and an Offline Pages platform app?
Offline Pages platform apps are well suited for unattended public kiosk operation. One of such apps is our own Offline Kiosk. You can set up your kiosk app to run in full screen mode and to require admin password to get access to settings or to update content.
Using free Apple Configurator utility, you can also enable single app mode on device to make sure it starts up with your app in foreground even after a complete battery drain or unexpected device reboot.
